    Terms & Conditions

    Last updated: March 2026

    1. About These Terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Advanced Performance Tuning ("APT", "we", "us", "our") website and the vehicle tuning services provided by APT and its franchise network. By using our website or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

    2. Our Services

APT provides ECU remapping and vehicle performance tuning services including, but not limited to:

    • Stage 1 and Stage 2 ECU remapping
    • DPF solutions (for off-road and motorsport use only)
    • AdBlue / SCR solutions (for off-road and motorsport use only)
    • EGR solutions (for off-road and motorsport use only)
    • Speed limiter adjustments

Services are carried out by our trained franchise network across the UK. Service availability may vary by location.

    3. Off-Road and Motorsport Services

Certain services — including DPF removal, AdBlue/SCR deletion, and EGR deletion — are supplied strictly for use on vehicles intended for off-road or motorsport purposes only. These modifications may render a vehicle non-compliant with UK road traffic law and emissions regulations. It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure any such modifications are used lawfully. APT accepts no liability for any legal consequences arising from use of these services on public roads.

    4. Bookings and Appointments

    • Bookings are made directly with your chosen local franchise.
    • Please ensure your vehicle is in a serviceable condition prior to your appointment.
    • We reserve the right to decline to remap a vehicle that is deemed unfit or unsafe.
    • A pre-remap diagnostic check is carried out as standard. Any faults found may need to be rectified before the remap can proceed.

    5. Pricing

    • Prices are set by individual franchise operators and may vary by location and vehicle.
    • All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
    • APT is not responsible for pricing errors or omissions displayed on the website.

    6. Results and Expectations

Power and torque gains quoted on our website are indicative figures based on typical results for each vehicle. Actual results may vary depending on the vehicle's condition, mileage, specification, and any modifications already present. APT does not guarantee specific power outputs.

    7. Warranty and Liability

    • ECU remapping is carried out by trained professionals using industry-standard equipment.
    • APT is not responsible for pre-existing faults or mechanical failures unrelated to the remap.
    • If a fault develops after a remap that is directly attributable to the mapping work, we will investigate and, where appropriate, rectify the issue at no additional cost.
    • Remapping your vehicle's ECU may affect your manufacturer's warranty. It is your responsibility to understand your manufacturer's warranty terms before proceeding.
    • APT's total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid for that service.

    8. Money-Back Guarantee

APT offers a money-back guarantee on remapping services, subject to the separate terms set out on our Money-Back Terms page.

    9. Vehicle Insurance

It is your responsibility to notify your vehicle insurer of any modifications made to your vehicle, including ECU remapping. Failure to do so may invalidate your insurance policy. APT accepts no liability for any insurance-related consequences.

    10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of APT or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our written permission.

    11. Website Use

You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the website. The vehicle registration lookup tool is provided for the purpose of finding tuning options for your own vehicle only.

    12. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites and provide links for convenience only.

    13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

    14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
