Accrington’s New Rolling Road is an Overnight Success

We installed the rolling road in May, and we have been visited by car owners from Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley and even car owners driving in from the Manchester area. Its been a busy time.

Rolling roads or Dyno’s as they are also known, measure the engine power of a vehicle by simulating a real road.  Think of it as a treadmill for cars. Its safe and very accurate.

We use it to measure the power before a remap and then torque improvements after we have tuned a car

We have discovered how accurate the power figures really are from our dyno.  Most VW’s, Audi’s, Skoda and SEAT we have measured are making exactly the BHP they left the factory with.
